This phase is crucial for the improvement of the PE-5NC highway, which connects Duran Bridge, Wawico Bridge, Santa Maria de Nieva/Nuevo Siasme and Saramiriza, with the aim of promoting connectivity and sustainable development in the Amazonas and Loreto regions.
As recalled, this project is developed under a G2G contract between the governments of Peru and Japan, signed between Provias Nacional and the Consortium PMO Road Axis 4 - Amazonas, made up of the companies Nippon Koei Latin America - Caribbean Co., Ltd., Peru Branch, and Nippon Koei Co., Ltd., Peru Branch.
The profile review process (phase 1) is the first step in a comprehensive plan that includes the preparation of the Final Engineering Studies (EDI), and the environmental and archaeological component (phase 2); as well as the construction and supervision of the works (phase 3).
Considering this progress, the Road Axis 4 - Amazonas Project is consolidated as a strategic pillar for regional development, improving road infrastructure and promoting economic and social growth in the area.
